November Business Meetings of Reinsurers Held on 19-21 November 2007 in Moscow, President Hotel

The Meetings are organised by the Reinsurance Committee of the Committee on reinsurance of the All-Russian Insurance Association (ARIA) in conjunction with "Business Character" Group.

The November Meetings' attendance consisted of 530 participants representing 109 companies plus guests invited by them, experts and journalists from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Bahrain, Bulgaria, Byelorussia, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Korea, Latvia, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Slovenia, Switzerland, Tadjikistan, Turkey, United Kingdom, United States, Ukraine, and Uzbekistan.

The Meetings' format remained the same as before. A short plenary session was opened by the Organizing Committee Chairman, Head of Department of Incoming Obligatory Reinsurance of Ingosstrakh Igor V. Alexeev.

The representatives of the participating companies made presentations on their reinsurance programs, and thereafter the participants proceeded to bilateral negotiations.

By tradition, participants in the Meetings will take part in the Beaujolais Nouveau - a feast of harvest organised by the Moscow office of SCOR in the President Hotel.

The November Meetings of Reinsurers in Moscow have been held each year since 2002, with interest in them growing steadily.
