November Business Meetings of Reinsurers - 2004
On November 24-26, 2004 the third Meetings of reinsurers were held in Moscow's National hotel, attracting 133 delegates representing 84 insurance firms from 10 countries. According to Igor Alexeyev, head of the Reinsurance Department in Ingosstrakh, "their number grew as compared to the previous two years". In 2002, the Meetings were attended by 61 delegates from 40 companies and in 2003, 102 delegates from 52 companies.
In the opinion of Grigori Fidelman, Chairman of the Reinsurance Committee of the All-Russia Union of Reinsurers, "the format of both the place and the Meetings has improved. The new venue, the National hotel, attaches the highest format to the Meetings".
When they were not engaged in business talks and presentations, participants in the Meetings could communicate informally and visit the Kremlin's museums.
