November Business Meetings of Reinsurers - 2003
Statistics of the first two events showed that insurers' interest in them was growing as was the number of participants. While in 2002 61 specialists from 40 companies came to Moscow, in 2003 their number increased to 102 and 52, respectively. In 2002, delegates from nine countries attended the Meetings and in 2003 from 12 - Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, Switzerland, Poland, Azerbaijan, Kirghizia, Georgia, India, South Korean, the Transdniester Moldovan Republic and Great Britain.
The second November Meetings proved more productive than the first because their participants were more prepared for them. Naturally, the earlier a company begins its preparations for the Meetings, the more productive for it they are and the fuller the wishes of all partners are taken into consideration. The experience of most Russian participants shows that such preparations should begin at least two months before the date of the event in order for them to be effective.
